  • Shona M. (Teacher)

    Shona Miranda believes that yoga is the way. After retiring from a career in public education, she deepened her personal practice and earned certifications in Vinyasa, Yin, and Restorative Yoga.

    With a solid foundation as an educator and a heartfelt passion for yoga, Shona is committed to showing that yoga is truly for everyBODY. Her teaching is fueled by her love of the practice and her purpose to inspire and empower others.

  • Joanna A. (Teacher)

    Joanna has been practicing yoga for 18 years, using it to manage stress and find balance. As a teacher, she’s passionate about holding space for students and empowering growth on and off the mat. With a background as a massage therapist, she offers expert hands-on adjustments to help you feel just right in your practice. Her favorite poses? Pigeon and Dancer—both graceful and grounding.

    Outside the studio, she loves traveling with her husband, Josh, and spending time with their three beloved pups. Join her class to feel supported, encouraged, and connected!


  • Yolonda L. (Teacher)

    In 2015, Yolonda began her yoga training with an Authentic Ashtanga Yoga Teacher Training (YTT). By 2020, she earned her 200-hour True Hot Vinyasa Certification, and she recently expanded her expertise with certifications in Trauma-Informed Yoga and Level II Reiki Healing.

    Her favorite benefit of yoga? The ability to calm a racing heart and mind simply by connecting body and breath. Yolonda firmly believes in being “always a student first” and continues to deepen her knowledge and skills in all things yoga.

  • Marissa (Teacher)

    Marissa is a 200-hour certified yoga instructor, trained through Scottsdale Community College — one of Arizona’s few college-accredited yoga programs. Her studies included a strong foundation in Iyengar Hatha yoga, with specialized focus on Yin, Restorative, and myofascial release techniques.

    Marissa holds space with warmth, compassion, and a grounded presence. Her classes are thoughtfully crafted to support all bodies, ages, and abilities, honoring each student’s unique path. Rooted in alignment, breath, and the wisdom of yoga philosophy, her teaching style blends heart with clarity — inviting students not only to move, but to reflect, connect, and come home to themselves.

  • Brooke M ( Teacher)

    De(Also lovingly known as Brookie or Buffy — she answers to all the nicknames! 💛)

    Brooke is a powerhouse of passion, purpose, and presence. A U.S. Air Force veteran, she served as an airborne linguist fluent in Persian and Dari-Farsi — bringing with her a deep appreciation for diverse cultures and a commitment to making everyone feel welcome and seen.

    Currently a high school science teacher 🧪 by day and an experienced yoga teacher by passion, Brooke blends evidence-based knowledge with mindful movement. She holds her E-RYT 500 certification and is trained in a wide variety of styles:

  • Muhammad (Mogi) (Teacher)

    Creating meaningful and transformative yoga experiences is truly Muhammad’s calling. With nearly four years of teaching experience and over a decade of dedicated personal practice, he brings depth, intention, and heart to every class he leads.

    Whether guiding students through a dynamic heated vinyasa flow or holding space for a soothing restorative practice, Muhammad shows up with presence, passion, and a commitment to helping each student feel supported, seen, and empowered. His background in massage therapy enhances his teaching through intuitive, grounding hands-on adjustments that elevate the experience on the mat.

    Muhammad believes yoga is for every body and every season of life. His classes blend mindful movement, breath, and authentic connection—inviting students to explore their practice with curiosity, strength, and ease.

  • Carla (Teacher)

    E-RYT 500 | YACEP | Reiki Master

    Carla fell in love with yoga after experiencing its life-changing impact on her physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being. She began teaching in 2012 and is registered with Yoga Alliance as an E-RYT 500 and YACEP.

    Her studies are rooted in Ashtanga and Vinyasa, and she has completed additional certifications in Yin Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Prenatal Yoga, Yoga Sculpt, Trauma-Informed Yoga, Yoga Nidra, and Adaptive Yoga. In addition, Carla is a Master’s Level Reiki Practitioner, bringing a holistic approach that weaves together movement, energy, and mindfulness.

    Carla is passionate about creating safe and welcoming spaces for everyBODY. With her calm, gentle, and non-judgmental demeanor, she encourages students to explore and deepen their practice while strengthening both body and mind. Known for her thoughtful sequencing and inspiring playlists, she helps set the perfect tone for each class.

    When she’s not teaching locally, Carla loves leading yoga classes in destinations like Mexico and the Caribbean. No matter where she is, her intention is the same: to guide students toward greater balance, health, and well-being—on and off the mat.

  • Amy (Aims) (Teacher)

    Amy Tenney is a yoga, meditation, and breath work instructor, and a Natural Health Practitioner.  She’s passionate about helping people feel aligned in body, mind and spirit.

    Her teaching blends science-backed wellness with accessible, heart-centered practices that meet people where they are. She loves the variety in yoga from dynamic vinyasa flows and hot yoga, to gentle flows and  yoga nidra  She’s certified in yoga for athletes, trauma informed yoga, anatomy, poly vagal theory and meditation. She enjoys working with athletic teams, leading transformative breath work journeys and hosting yoga retreats. Amy also hosts a podcast with guided yoga, meditation, and breath work sessions.  

    Grounded in her faith and fueled by curiosity, Amy brings a down-to-earth approach to mindfulness and movement. When she’s not teaching, she’s likely at the lake, traveling, laughing with her husband and three kids, or getting messy in the kitchen.
